I absolutely Love denim. It's the easiest thing to throw on in your closet, plus it's easy to dress up or down. My pick for the season is to go with a sexy distressed denim. Think clean lines with destroyed holes. These are extremely easy to wear with flats and a t-shirt or just as easy to throw on heels and a sexy top for the night out. Take a look.....

You all know I have a crush on Nicole Richie. Her style is flawless and she has really come into her own as a woman. Props to her for looking so gorg while being pregnant! I am obsessing over her House of Harlow 1960 jewelry collection. It is so hippie chic and done in such a tasteful manner. The 60's were a little over the top for me but Nicole's interpretation is fab. You can find House of Harlow at www.pinkmascara.com.

It's time for the Dress of the Week. I am loving Laila Azhar's pleated strapless dress. It's just perfect for summer rooftop parties as well as a night out on the town. The exposed zipper detail in the back is so trend right. Black paired with yellow is huge for the season. The studded belt detail breaks up the color combo perfectly. Hooray for the dress of the week!!! Now only if my budget allowed me to buy it:).......Chow Bellas!!!!

I had the pleasure of attending the book signing with the Millionaire Matchmaker herself Patti Stanger. She looked fabulous as always and she was signing her new book "Become your own Matchmaker". The book signing was at Fred Segal Fun in Santa Monica and it turned out a huge crowd. We had a blast watching Patti recruit men and women for future dates! Dj Mia was spinning excellent tunes and we enjoyed cocktails by Tres Generaciones. The team at Kravetz PR really knows how to throw an event.

Mopshots has made it across the pond!!! Check out the article MSNUK ran!

We've all been there: you step into the hairdressers with high hopes for a brand new look and leave feeling as though you've been butchered. But a new website could bring an end to such hair travesties. Liz Frost takes a look...
A woman at the hairdressers (image © Rex Features)
If you’ve ever had a bad haircut you’ll know the shame associated with stepping out for the first time sporting your new look – especially if you’ve taken the plunge with a brave new trend and now you’re not too sure you’ve done the right thing.

I remember getting a haircut when I was 13 – I was going for a stylish chin-length bob, but my hair is the kind that’s prone to frizz and by the time she’d finished it was wonky on one side and had been cut with a razor. She hadn’t taken my natural curls into account, so as soon as it dried I was the none-too-proud owner of an afro. Needless to say, I ran all the way home and refused to leave my bedroom for the rest of the day.

When I eventually I emerged, my mum assured me it didn’t look too bad but I was devastated.  I was teased at school for the rest of the week and I was going on holiday that weekend with my parents. Predictably, the girl in the next apartment was around my age with beautiful waist length curls. Sometimes haircuts can be cruel.

Well if you’ve recently taken the plunge, and it’s reassurance you’re after, help could be at hand with a new social networking site for hair called mopshots.com.

Users can post their new haircuts up on the site and create their very own look book.  Each postee includes details of where they got their barnet chopped, so if you like their ‘do’ you can print off their picture and hot foot it over the relevant salon for some of the same.

Mopshots isn't just a place to showcase your fancy new look though. There’s actually a team called The Dictators— a well-informed and beautifully coiffed bunch of 19 ladies and one gent – who review submissions, provide advice and select which shots get featured on the site. So if you weren’t sure about your new 'do before, you’ll be able to gain an honest opinion from people in the know.

If you’re lucky enough to have a fabulous hair, your tresses could make it into the ‘Top Shots’ section, where all the beautiful and popular haircuts live. Each haircut is assigned a popularity rating and people can choose to ‘like’ your hairstyle.

Since my 13-year-old debacle, I’ve been very cautious when it comes to haircuts.  And these days with GHDs and serum at the ready, I’m able to keep my locks under control, but I have to admit, I’m dubious about subjecting my next cut to the scrutiny of mopshots. After all, what if the other hairstyles picked on my one? Are you brave enough? Take a look and find out.

Who doesn't like Pretty little things? I was invited to attend the launch party for the Pretty Thing boutique opening on Dayton Way in the heart of Beverly Hills. The store is so girly I was in complete heaven. If you are looking for the most comfortable, yet sexy, sleepwear  you must come here. The assortment is broad so they cover all tastes. They also have daywear and killer maxi dresses.

When I walked in I noticed how incredible the store smelled. They sell there own candles there and I had to indulge. I recommend the Beach scent as well as Cake. Want a little romance in your life? Stop by Pretty Thing Boutique, pick up scented candles and a nightie and you are halfway there!
