It's form fitting and the sexiest skirt I've seen all season. In this shot they have paired it with a loose tank. A loose top is the way to go for this look. It makes the look subtly sexy. When I see suspenders on anything I always think of my favorite movie Newsies. Remember??? Back in the day it was Christian Bale's breakout movie role. I used to LOVE Brooklyn. Ahhh memories. Well I am digging One Five's suspender romper. First of all rompers are a HUGE trend this year. I would suggest either a bright color, patterned or this particular one from One Five. Pair it with a fedora and fun heels and you are ready to turn heads.

I have blogged about blazers before and how they are an absolute must. I tell all my clients they have to have at least two blazers in their wardrobe. One funky/trendy and the other more structured and preppy. Dallin Chase has the cutest blazer out there. I totally recommend this style. It's fitted in all the right spots and the puckering at the shoulders is adorable. You can wear this over a dress, with a tee and shorts, or with a tank and jeans. It is completely versatile. The only shorts I buy are from Alice + Olivia. They know how to fit a woman's body. I am loving Alice + Olivia's zen pants. Slouchy pants are a huge trend but if you are nervous about the look try a more structured pant like the one featured below. It's super classy and sexy. These are great for work during the day as well as transitionimh into night. Just pair them with a loose tank and a cardigan and lose the cardigan at night. Make sure you wear sexy pumps too!

Trina Turk has always been one of my favorite designers. She was one of the lines the fashion PR company I interned with in college represented. I have been in love with her collections ever since. Something about her designs makes me want to take a vacation to Palm Springs just to wear the clothes. Her designs are incredibly elegant and sophisticated with a retro flare. But she uses colors and patterns which make all of her pieces fun and stand out. Here are some of her latest creations that I am swooning over. She also has fab accessories and handbags.

Movies and fashion go hand in hand. A lot of designers get inspired by certain films and design accordingly. Tim Burton's take on Alice in Wonderland is no exception. You will start to see a lot of design elements from the movie brought out in fashion. Think chiffon blouses with spades and hearts on them or geometric design elements. Temperley London has a new dress out that just screams "I'm going to a mad hatter tea party". The colors are insanely fabulous and the geometric design is inspired. I am loving this style and I can't wait to see more inspirational pieces. Just don't get caught painting the roses red!!
