Like any Sex in the City fan I was so excited to read The Carrie Diaries by Candace Bushnell. I know I don't work in publishing but I have been seriously disappointed in the book. I am more then halfway finished and I am bored out of my mind. Carrie's character is nothing like her city character. I keep waiting for the big aha moment in the book but it just gets more and more dull. The highschool moments are extremely predictable and Carrie is not her usual self plus she surrounds herself with boring friends. Where is the Carrie we know and love?? I'm going to keep reading and pray for a miracle.

Cargo pants, shorts, and capris are all over the streets these days. I have my favorite lines but they are really expensive. Thank goodness for Zara. I found the most adorable cargo leggings there for under $50. If you are looking for this look I'm sending you to Zara! No need to spend a couple hundred dollars on one pair when you can get 3!

Happy Monday readers!! We wanted to share with you that we styled the fabulous wedding coordinator to the stars Michelle Buckely for an upcoming episode of Who's wedding is it anyway. Michelle is owner of Mint Julep Events and puts on the most fabulous weddings and parties. For her look we went very Chanel dressing her in a flapper style dress with pearls and a fab headband. Before MTV got a hold of the jersey shore it used to be a place of wonder and excitement. Old school jersey shore was filled with glamour and lights. I found this vintage black and white dress that reminds me of a vintage shore with carousels and cotton candy. Where lemonade was the drink of choice and ladies walked around with umbrellas for shade and taffy was the treat. I would love to live back in those days. Well anyway here is a throwback to the old shore but the styles are available today!
